Chapter 01
Before anesthesia ever begins
Pre-anesthetic blood work and an IV catheter are recommended for every surgical procedure at Rose-Rich, dental or otherwise. The blood work tells the doctor how a pet's organs are handling things before anesthesia asks anything of them, and the catheter is already in place if a pet needs fluids or medication delivered quickly during the procedure, not after someone goes looking for a vein.
It is the same discipline the surgical suite itself is built around: separate induction and pack-prep areas, so a pet is settled into anesthesia in one space and the sterile instruments for the procedure are staged in another.

What we watch while your pet is under
Once a pet is under, it is monitored continuously: ECG for heart rhythm, blood pressure, and oxygen, for the full length of the procedure. None of the three is a spot check taken once and set aside, they run the whole time a pet is not able to tell anyone how it is doing.
Dr. Stephanie Ginestra's special interests include soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging, and Dr. Gaby Torres joined the team with surgery and critical care as her stated focus, the same monitoring discipline both apply whether the procedure on the table is a spay or a cruciate repair.
Chapter 03
One anesthesia, several things done
Because anesthesia itself carries the most risk of any part of a procedure, Rose-Rich bundles minor work into the same anesthesia whenever a pet is already under for something else: dentistry, ear cleaning, nail trimming, and microchip implantation. A pet goes under once and comes out having had everything it needed done, rather than being anesthetized separately for each one.
Dr. Katie Williams and Dr. Morgan Drozd both name veterinary dentistry among their special interests, which is why a dental cleaning bundled into a same-day surgery gets the same attention as the surgery itself, not treated as an afterthought once the main procedure is finished.

Soft tissue procedures (spay, neuter, declaw, tumor removal, umbilical hernia repair) and orthopedic procedures (cruciate ligament repair).
Before surgery
Proof of vaccination is required
Every pet coming in for surgery needs current proof of vaccination, the same requirement boarding and grooming share, because it protects every other pet in the building that same day.
