Appointments and drop-offs

Scheduling a Visit at Rose-Rich

“For more than 50 years, this clinic has been providing our clients with quality and affordable veterinary care.” Whether you are booking an exam, bringing a pet in for a drop-off, or coming in as a new client, here is exactly how it works on Thompson Road.

When we're open for exams

Weekday appointments, Saturday walk-in

Exam appointments run Monday through Friday. Saturday morning, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, is walk-in only. No appointment is needed, you simply come in during that window. We are closed Saturday afternoons and Sundays.

We also close for New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, and Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, and we close at midday on both Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.

Three ways to schedule

However you reach us, please plan at least three days ahead for a routine appointment. It keeps the schedule realistic for everyone, including you.

Drop-offs

Dropping a pet off during the day

Drop-offs are accepted after 7:00 AM. Calling ahead is recommended so the team knows to expect you. Most pets are ready for pick-up by 4:00 PM the same day.

One rule we do not bend: a newly shelter-adopted pet or a pet that is not currently vaccinated cannot be left as a drop-off. Those pets need a booked exam appointment instead, so a veterinarian can look them over before anything else happens.

New to Rose-Rich? Three steps.

  1. 1

Call us on (281) 342-3727 to schedule your first visit.

  2. 2

Have your previous clinic transfer your pet’s records, either by fax to (281) 232-3727 or by email to clinic@roserichvet.com.

  3. 3

Complete the New Client Form in advance so the front desk isn’t doing paperwork while your pet waits.

Payment, insurance, and who we treat

We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and CareCredit. If you carry pet insurance, the front desk will help you complete the claim forms. A deposit is required for new-client sick patients.

Rose-Rich is a small animal practice. We are not accepting new equine or bovine patients. If you have an exotic pet, call us, we will either talk it through with you or refer you on. Pocket pets, birds, reptiles, and rabbits are seen by Dr. Richard Croft.

Forms you can fill out before you come in

Printing these at home saves you filling them in at the front desk. Bring them with you, or email them to clinic@roserichvet.com ahead of the visit.
